Mrs. Kathryn S. (Shorey) Sawyer died in the Cartias Norwood Hospital, Norwood Massachusetts on Tuesday, May 15th, 2007 . Born on September 3, 1922, in Boston, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Roscoe A. & Mary (Stanton) Shorey. A graduate of Walpole High School , Class of 1940. Life long resident of Walpole

Mrs. Sawyer was truly a family person, involved with her children and grandchildren's activities, she was a Den Mother, Volunteer with Campfire Girls, Boy Scouts, and as a CCD teacher at Saint Timothy's Church. A volunteered with Meals on Wheels, and during World War II she was anAir Warden in the Town of Walpole. Mrs. Sawyer enjoyed her gardening, her music , especially her Irish Music. Beloved wife of Donald A. Sawyer Loving mother of Aaron and his wife Sharon Sawyer of Lowell, Jeffrey Sawyer of N. Attleboro, Marilyn and her husband Michael Sullivan of Canton, Patricia A. and her husband Walter Baptiste, and Robert & his wife Olga Sawyer all of Walpole Cherished grandmother of Kevin, Kerry, Brian Sullivan, Kathryn Rose, Aaron Christopher, Abigail, Daniel Sawyer, and the late Kelli Ann Baptiste. Sister of Edna "Pal" (Shorey) Ciccolini of Sarasota, Florida, the late Roscoe Shorey,Jr., Stanton Shorey.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Saint Timothy's Church 650 Nichols Street Norwood on Friday, May 18, 2007 @ 11:30AM . Visiting hours are Thursday, May 17, 2007 from 4pm to 8pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole . Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, Massachusetts.
