Kathleen M. Berghaus

KATHLEEN M. "KAY" (PARLON) BERGHAUS AGE 76 YEARS DIED ON SATURDAY MORNING, SEPTEMBER 17TH, 2005 IN HER North Attleboro Home. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she was raised in Jamacia Plain and graduated from Jamacia Plain High School Class of 1947.

A resident of North Attleboro for the past 4 years, she had lived in East Walpole from 1962 til 2001.

Mrs. Berghaus formerly worked as a waitress, for many years, at the Golden Steer Restaurant on Route One in East Walpole. In 1999 she retired from the Michael J. Connolly Bus Company where she had been a school bus driver for over 30 years.

Mrs. Berghaus and her late husband Ray were very involved with Saint Mary's Church in East Walpole. They worked the Bingo together, She was incharge of the Parish Hall rentals and he worked many nights finishing the Parish Hall. Kay also volunteered her time at the Pine Street Inn and at the Wrentham State School.

Beloved wife of 40 years to the late Raymond J. Berghaus Loving mother of Kathie M. Meyer of Long Island New York, Jean M. and her husband Al Reddy of North Attleboro, Patricia B. and her husband Frank Moore of North Attleboro. Cherished grandmother of Ryan & Brendan Meyer both of Long Island New York, Shannon & Daniel Moore, Jake Reddy, and Marissa Moore, all of North Attleboro, and the late Colleen Meyer. Sister of William Parlon of FL, Patricia Fary of Haverhill, Grace Keefe of Needham, Paul Parlon of Walpole, and the late Lawrence Parlon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in Saint Mary's Church Washington Street East Walpole on Tuesday, September 20th, 2005 @ 9AM. Relatives and Friends are Kindly invited Visting Hours are Monday afternoon 3-8PM., in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment in Saint Joseph's Cemetery W. Roxbury. Memorial Donations may be made to Hospice Community Visiting Nurse Association 141 Park Street, Attleboro, Massachusetts 02703.
