Katherine R. Sefarian

Katherine R. (Tompkins) Sefarian age 85 years died in the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts on Saturday, September 12, 2009. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on July 17, 1924; she was the daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Finneran) Tompkins. She has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts for the past 50 years.

She worked in the assembly division of Polaroid in Norwood, Massachusetts.

Mrs. Sefarian enjoyed knitting, cooking, and crossword puzzles; but most especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Beloved wife of the late James C. Sefarian. Loving mother of Jean and her husband John Silvestri of Franklin. Cherished grandmother of David Silvestri of NH and Paul Silvestri of GA, great grandmother of Ethan and Brooke Silvestri of NH. Sister of Virginia Callaway of Somerville, Charles Tompkins, Jr. of Yarmouth, William Tompkins of CA, Isabelle Savoy of Yarmouth, James Tompkins, Richard Tompkins of FL, John Tompkins of FL, the late Joseph Finneran, the late Alice Tompkins, and the late Robert Tompkins. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Wednesday at 11AM. Visiting hours are Wednesday morning from 9-11AM. Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park Canton.
