Katherine married her husband, Bruce W. Guild, Jr., on May 23, 1992 and together they made their home in Mansfield, Massachusetts. In 2010, they purchased a cottage in Wells, Maine, where she loved spending her summer weekends. After her retirement in 2013, she and Bruce spent their summers together in their cottage.
She was a devoted family woman, who loved hosting parties and get-togethers for her family. As a talented cook, she enjoyed the holidays and cookouts, where she could make a large meal to feed everyone.
