KAREN MICHELLE YOUNG

Karen beloved daughter of Thomas and Patricia and sister of James of North Attleboro and formerly of Walpole passed away January 24 in Rome, Italy while studying abroad.

She is also survived by: Grandfather Robert L. Hoy and wife Bonnie Hoy. Uncles & Aunts : Daniel & Joan Hoy, Mary Curran, Tim Hoy, Steve & Jean Davis, Robert & Audrey Young, Richard & Joetta Young, David & Bonnie Young, Linda Madvig, and seventeen cousins & extended family.

Karen graduated from Bishop Feehan in Attleboro where she excelled in academics and art. Karen was a junior at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, majoring in Business and Finance. She was attending a study abroad program through USC in Rome. During Karen's life she also lived in Singapore during her middle school years and traveled to New Zealand, Australia, & Far East. She was a very dedicated and ambitious young woman who set high standards and goals in her life.

Karen touched many lives with her wit and sense of fashion and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Visiting hours will be held Feb. 1 at Delaney and Sons in Walpole 3:00 a'" 8:00. A Mass in celebration of her life will be held at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament in Walpole, Feb. 2 at 10:00 with Christian burial following at Terrace hill Cemetery in South Walpole.
