Karen Pallis Wilson, age 63, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 8, 2021 at her home in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on February 28, 1958, she was the daughter of the late John Edward and Frances Louise (Small) Pallis. She was raised in Westwood, Massachusetts, where she graduated from Westwood High School with the Class of 1976. Karen graduated from Blue Hills Vocational School, as a certified Dental Assistant.
After welcoming her children, John and Kimberly, Karen took on the role of a homemaker, raising and caring for her family in her home in Walpole, Massachusetts. Karen started her own cleaning business which she ran successfully for many years until her recent retirement.
More recently, Karen settled in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. She enjoyed her community and loved spending time surrounded by her family and pets. She had a passion for animals and surrounded herself with cats and dogs from various shelters, giving them a loving home. She spent many memorable years vacationing at the family lake house on Balch Lake in East Wakefield, New Hampshire.
Loving mother of John P. Wilson and his wife, Nicole, of Lincoln, Rhode Island and Kimberly F. Wilson of Plainville.
Cherished grandmother of Colby Park.
Sister of Edward Pallis of Colorado.
Devoted aunt of Connor Pallis and Xander Pallis.
At the request of Karen's family, all funeral services will be private with a family gathering to take place at a later date.
