Karen M. (Carmichael) Daniele, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 2, 1970, she was the daughter of John F. and Marie F. (Hanley) Carmichael. She spent her early years in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Boston, before her family settled in Medfield, Massachusetts, where Karen graduated from Medfield High School with the Class of 1988. Following her graduation, Karen took a position with Simmons College, working in the Public Safety Office.
In 1993, Karen was appointed to the City of Chelsea's Housing Authority Police Department. She went on to complete the Norwood Municipal Police Academy before being appointed to the Chelsea Police Department in 1995. Karen left her career in law enforcement in 2007, taking on the role of a homemaker, raising and caring for her family. More recently, she returned to the working world, taking a position in the loss prevention department of Macy's in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Throughout her life, Karen loved spending time at the beach, and especially looked forward to vacations to the shores of Cape Cod. Her trips were never complete without a day or two full of shopping, looking for the best deals. Back at home, Karen enjoyed relaxing and watching television, catching up on her favorite crime or drama shows. More than anything, she was devoted to her family, gathering those she loved to share a home cooked meal and share stories.
Loving mother of Nicholas E. Daniele and his partner, Lindsay Anderson, of Nashua, New Hampshire and Edward J. Marchese, III of Hudson, New Hampshire.
Devoted daughter of Marie F. (Hanley) Carmichael of Medway and the late John F. Carmichael.
