Juliane Eldracher, age 58, passed away in her Walpole, Massachusetts home on Thursday, February 28, 2019. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on May 30, 1960, she was the daughter of the late John “Jack” A. Eldracher, II and Mary V. (O’Donnell) Eldracher. Julie was raised on School Street in Walpole and attended Blessed Sacrament School as a young girl. She later attended the West Junior High School before graduating from Walpole High School with the Class of 1978.
Following graduation, Julie first took a position with Varitech, working as a laboratory technician before starting work with Kendall Mills in Walpole. She worked at Kendall’s until their closing, when she took a position with the Walpole Co-Operative Bank, working as an administrative assistant in the loan department. She maintained her position with the Co-Op for many years and is still listed on the employee roster.
When Julie wasn’t hard at work, she enjoyed traveling with family and friends. She visited Florida many times with her father, made many trips to Cape Cod and New Hampshire, and looked forward to venturing out with her Foxboro friends. Julie liked to keep moving, taking step classes at Beth & Bev’s with her close friends and was always the first on the floor for line dancing. Back at home, Julie took great pride in her vegetable garden and loved spending time with her dogs over the years. Most of all, Julie loved spending time with her beloved nieces and nephews.
While Julie faced her illness over the last 15 years, she did so with great courage and no complaints. She was an incredibly strong woman who was loved by everyone she met.
