Judith B. Hoffman
Lover of Life Beautiful Human Being
Our most wonderful friend, sister, daughter, Judy has returned to spirit. Loved by many, she will be dearly missed. Although deeply saddened by her passing, we celebrate her life and bid her farewell with love and gratitude.
Judy was born in Newark, New Jersey on March 14th, 1945 and raised in Millburn, NJ. She was a graduate of Millburn High School, Boston University, and Lesley College. She leaves her parents David and Edith Nurnberg of Millburn: her sister Ruth Nurnberg of Richmond, VA; brother and sister-in-law Richard and Amy Nurnberg of Columbus, GA; nephews Craig (Jennifer) of Atlanta, and David (Kisha) Nurnberg of Jacksonville, FL; as well as many beloved friends.
Judy was a most remarkable woman who many knew as friend, mentor, counselor, spiritual sister, and healer. She asks to be remembered as a teacher, one who was loving, kind and fun! That she was indeed.
Please come together in celebration of Judy's life on Saturday, October 28th at the United Church of Walpole, Bradford Lewis Hall, 30 Common Street at 7 PM. At Judy's request, casual attire, shades of white please.
In Lieu of flowers, donations of celebration can be made to the Judith B. Hoffman Scholarship for Adult Learners, a scholarship to support students in the counseling psychology program at Lesley University. C/o Lesley University, Development, 29 Everett Street Cambridge, MA 02138.
