Joseph M. Dirienzo

June 15, 1956 — February 20, 2007

Mr. Joseph M. DiRienzo, Jr. age 50 years died in the Caritas Norwood Hospital on Tuesday Evening , February 20th, 2007. Born on June 15, 1956, in Norwood, Massachusetts, the son of Joseph M. & Olive B. (Jewkes) DiRienzo. Raised in Walpole, and graduated from Walpole High School with the Class of 1974. He attended the night school and graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

He has been working as an electrical engineer for the Parson Engineering Company in Boston for the past 12 years and was at Badger Engineering Boston, MA before that.

A resident of Norfolk since 1988 moving there from Walpole.

He had coached baseball, and was the Past President of Norfolk Baseball. He also was a coach for the King Phillip Walpole Youth Hockey Program. He played Men's Hockey at the Norfolk Ice Rink 2 nights a week. A Member of Foxboro Country Club, where he was an avid golfer and especially enjoyed playing golf with his son. He loved to watch and participate in all kinds of sports.

Beloved husband of Tracy S. (Savage) DiRienzo Loving father of Joseph M. DiRienzo, III and Annmarie S. DiRienzo both of Norfolk Cherished son of Joseph M. and Olive B. (Jewkes) DiRienzo of Marston Mills. Son in law of Janice D. (Dinardo) Savage of Sanford, Maine Brother of Olive M. Chase of Marston Mills, Daniel J. DiRienzo of Rehoboth, Ruth A. Donnelly of Medway, Thomas E. DiRienzo of Franklin, Robert D. DiRienzo of N. Attleboro, Mary T. Lyons of Hyannis, and William J. DiRienzo of Plainville also survived by many nieces and nephews

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in Saint Jude's Church 86 Main Street Norfolk on Saturday Morning, February 24, 2007 @ 10 AM. Visiting hours are Friday, February 23, 2007 4 to 8 in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Norfolk Cemetery, Norfolk , Massachusetts.
