Joseph deLellis

Joseph deLellis age 70 years died in his Walpole, Massachusetts home on Saturday, March 27, 2010. Born in Newton, Massachusetts on December 18, 1939; he graduated from Newton High School with the class of 1957. He went on to graduate from Northeastern University with the class of 1962. He continued his education at Northeastern University and earned his Master's Degree in 1968. Mr. deLellis has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts since 1970, moving from Auburndale, Massachusetts.

He worked as an electrical engineer for GTE Sylvania in Needham, Massachusetts for 29 years.

Mr. deLellis was a member of IEEE, the Consultants Network, and the Mattapoisett Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed sports cars, photography, and music.

Beloved husband of Geraldine A. (Desrosiers) deLellis of Walpole. Devoted son of Constance (Berghelli) deLellis of Newton and the late Giuseppe deLellis. Loving father of Daniel deLellis of St. Petersburg, FL and Melissa Lamperti of Plainville. Cherished grandfather of Jeremy and Marissa Lamperti both of Plainville. Brother of Steven deLellis of Newton, brother-in-law of Elaine Camelio of Attleboro and Denise Muir of Warren NJ, and half brother of Patricia Minot of Bradenton, FL and Peter Stubbins of Culver City, UT. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service that will be held in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM.
