John D. Robbins

John D. Robbins age 40 years died by accident on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, in the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on August 22, 1971; he was the son of Helen M. (O'Connor) and the late Stanley P. Robbins, Jr. He graduated from Walpole High School with the Class of 1989. He was a life long resident of Walpole.

He was a Fleet Mechanic for the National Grid Company for the past 2 years, and had worked for New England Industrial Truck in Wilmington.

Mr. Robbins loved the outdoors, being on the water, boating, and his snowmobile. His greatest joy was spending time with his family especially with his children and being involved with their activities and sports.

Beloved husband of Laura J. (Needle) Robbins. loving father of Kyle J. Robbins and Kaylee J. Robbins of Walpole. Devoted son of Helen M. (O'Connor) Robbins of Walpole and the late Stanley P. Robbins, Jr. Brother of Kathleen and her husband Thomas Restuccia of Foxboro, Paul and his wife Julie (Izzo) Robbins of Franklin, and Patricia and her husband Michael Mucci of Upton. Uncle of Samantha, Victoria, Mark Robbins of Franklin, Nicholas, Christopher Mucci of Upton, Jaime, Joshua, Jeremy Mall of Mansfield, William, Sarah Bryce of Walpole, Matthew, Kate Needle of Ct, William, Christine Needle of Norfolk. Son in law of Barbara L. (Thorn) Needle of Walpole and the late Roger F. Needle. Brother in law of Roger F. Needle of CT, Susan E. Needle of Walpole, Deborah A. Mall of Mansfield, and Will Needle of Norfolk.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Saint Timothy's Church Nichols Street Norwood on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 10AM. Visiting hours are Sunday, October 23, 2011 from 2pm to 6pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
