John Patrick Mulhern age 86 years died in the Harrington House in Walpole, Massachusetts on Friday, September 5, 2008. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 14, 1921 to his parents the late Partick and Nora (Kane) Mulhern, he graduated from Mission High School with the class of 1938. Mr. Mulhern served his country in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. He moved to Walpole, Massachusetts from Brighton in 1950.
He was a steel worker for the National Steel Company in Randolph, Massachusetts for 38 years, retiring in 1984.
Beloved husband of the late Kathleen T. (Margey) Mulhern. Brother of Martin Mulhern of Milton, James Mulhern of California, the late Joseph Mulhern, and the late Thomas Mulhern. Brother in law of Winifred Margey of Cambridge, Sheila Pearson of Watertwon, and Frances Byrne of Dedham. Also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visiting hour on Monday September 8, 2008 from 8:30 to 9:30AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Saint Timothy's Church Nichols Street Norwood on Monday, September 8, 2008 @ 10:00 AM. Interment is in Saint Francis Cemetery Walpole, Massachusetts.
