John J. Meau

John J. Meau, age 75, passed away in Sturdy Memorial Hospital on Sunday, April 12, 2020. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on August 14, 1944, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Lillian G. (Gould) Meau. He was raised in Walpole, Massachusetts and has most recently been a resident of Attleboro, Massachusetts.
He was the father of John J. Meau, Jr. of Reno, Nevada and Laurie-Ann Meau of England, and the brother of Evelyn Hixson and her husband, Donald, of Wareham, Frederick Meau and his wife, Bonnie, of Florida, Gary Meau and his wife, Dorice, of Wareham, the late Lillian Petrino, and the late Joseph Meau, Jr.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
As a result of the ongoing health crisis in the world and our community and with genuine concern for the well-being of all involved, John’s family has decided that his funeral services will be private. Interment will take place at a later date in Saint Francis Cemetery in Walpole.
