Joan Marie Fish

Joan Marie (Labrie) Fish age 79 years died in her Foxborough, Massachusetts home on Sunday, April 17, 2011. Born in North Attleboro, Massachusets on October 30, 1931; she was the daughter of the late Albany J. and Yvonne W. (Precourt) Labrie. She graduated from North Attleboro High School with the class of 1949. She later graduated from the Winslow Secretarial School with the class of 1951. She has been a resident of Foxborough, Massachusetts for the past 11 years moving from South Dartmouth where she spent 11 years. She lived and raised her family in South Walpole, Massachusetts.

She worked along side her husband as an administrative assistant at the Fish Chemical Company in Walpole. She also worked as a clerk at the Walpole Woodworkers in Walpole.

She enjoyed sewing, reading, and knitting. She spent some of her spare time volunteering for the schools in Walpole, the South Walpole Methodist Church, and the Town of Walpole. Every year she helped create the Annual Report for the Town of Walpole.

Beloved wife of G. Franklin Fish. Loving mother of Leslie Fish of Stoneham, Carolyn and her husband Donald Timmins of Foxboro, and Sally and her husband John Lennon of South Walpole. Cherished grandmother of Lee Fish, Christopher Timmins, Mitchell Timmins, Benjamin Lennon, Michelle Lennon, and Jeffrey Lennon. Sister of Ellen Miramant of Kingfield, Maine, the late Florence Cosmo, and Yvette Patanoff. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to celebrate Joan's life at the Memorial Service that will be held at The United Methodist Church of South Walpole on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM.
