Jennie F. Walukevich

JENNIE F. (ZUKE) WALUKEVICH DIED IN THE EMERALD COURT NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER ON MONDAY AFFTERNOON, AUGUST 7, 2006. Born and raised in Norwood, daughter of the late Jaroslaw and Veronica (Falewicz) Zuke.

She graduated Norwood High School with the class of 1943. She was the secretary of her class from 1941 through 1943. While attending Norwood High School she played both Basketball and Softball.

Mrs. Walukevich first worked as a secretary for the Dedham Water Works, then as an estimator for the Plimpton Printing Press, Norwood. She along with her husband opened the East Walpole Cash Market.

She was a member of the DAV Chapter 90 Ladies Auxiliary in Norwood.

Beloved wife of Edmund L. Walukevich Loving mother of Paul D. Walukevich of North Attleboro, Michael E. Walukevich of East Walpole, and Mark A. Walukevich of Chelmsford. Cherished grandmother of 7 Sister of Myra Pesta, Leo Zuke, and Helen Klosowski all of Norwood

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Saint Mary's Church, East Walpole on Friday, August 11, 2006 @ 9AM. Relatives and Friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Thursday, August 10, 2006 from 4 to 8 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street, Walpole. Interment in Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
