Jean M. Petrovick

JEAN M. (Gorman) PETROVICK AGE 86 years died in The Ellis Nursing Home, Norwood, Massachusetts on Sunday Morning, June 11th, 2006. Born on October 30, 1919, in Dorchester, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late James & Eleanor (McDonough) Gorman.

A 1937 graduate of the Jeremiah Burke High School in Boston, she then graduated from the nursing school @ New England Womens & Childrens in 1941.

Mrs. Petrovick was a registered nurse at the Norwood Hospital, in Norwood, Massachusetts for 44 years, retiring in 1982.

She was an avid reader and walker, many would remember her on the walk from her home to the Walpole Public Library.

Beloved wife of the late William F. Petrovick Loving mother of William J. and his wife Susan (Gingras) Petrovick of Walpole,Carol Jean Zitkus of Barkhamsted, CT , and Elly E. Petrovick of Walpole . Cherished grandmother of Brian Petrovick of Quincy . Sister of the late Eleanor Hall, the late James Gorman and the late Donald Gorman.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church , East Street (Rt 27) @ Diamond Street Walpole on Thursday, June 15, 2006 @ 10 AM. Visiting hours are Wednesday, June 14, 2006 4pm to 8pm at James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, Massachusetts.
