Jean M. (Marque) Ayan, age 82, passed away peacefully in the Ellis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Norwood on Thursday, January 21, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boston on January 25, 1933, she was raised in Hyde Park and attended Hyde Park High School with the Class of 1951.
Jean married her husband, Frank T. Ayan, on February 14, 1954 and together they made their home in Roslindale. She took on the role of a homemaker, raising and caring for her family. After her husband passed, Jean moved to East Walpole in 1990.
In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and crafts. Most of, Jean cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Loving mother of Deborah J. Kelly of East Walpole, Diane M. Ayan of East Walpole, Donna L. Russo and her husband George of Scituate, and the late Doreen M. Stuart.
Cherished Nana of Kristine, Jimmy, Shannon, Michael, Lindsey, Amanda, Paul, Gidge, and Frankie and Nana Jean of Addison, Colin, Bridget, Grace and Dermot.
Sister of the late Helen Stevens, Irene Walsh, and Ann Malone.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Jean's Life Celebration on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 2-6 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Most Precious Blood Church, 25 Maple Street, Hyde Park on Monday, January 25, 2015 at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow in New Calvary Cemetery in Roslindale. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
