Jay G. Kelley

Jay G. Kelley age 76 years died in Naples, Florida on February 2, 2012. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 3, 1935, he was the son of the late John G. and Marion (Murphy) Kelley. He graduated from Watertown High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War on board the USS Prichett. He later graduated from Bridgewater State College with the class of 1962 with a degree in education. He has been a resident of Naples for the past 14 years and was a Walpole resident for 35 years.

He worked for Abbott Laboratories in Boston in pharmaceutical sales for 30 years.

He coached youth hockey in Walpole, was an avid boater and fisherman, and loved to golf. In addition, he enjoyed music, theatre and traveling.

Beloved husband of the late June (Stefanik) Kelley. Loving father of Jay G. Kelley, Jr. and his wife April of Franklin, Sean J. Kelley and his wife Susan of Walpole, Tracey K. Lavin and her husband John of Charlestown, and the late Kerry S. Kelley. Cherished grandfather of Katie, Jake, Brian, Kerry, Anna, and Drew.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral mass in Blessed Sacrament Church East St. (Route 27) at Diamond St. Walpole on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 10AM. Interment will be private. Visiting hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Walpole Scholarship Foundation, in memory of Kerry S.
