Janet M. Eastman

Mrs. Janet M. (Faris) Eastman age 75 died in the Charlwell House Nursing Home , Norwood, Massachusetts on Thursday, July 19th, 2007. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on December 20th, 1931 , daughter of the late James A. and Lottie R. (Rattray) Faris. Raised in Millis and graduated from Millis High School Class of 1949, then graduated from Framingham State Teachers College with the Class of 1953.

She taught 2nd grade in the Sherborn Elementary School in Sherborn, Massachusetts for over 17 years. When she began her 2nd Career as a Property Manager for the Niles Corporation. She worked in the City of Boston and on Cape Cod.

A resident of Walpole for the past 5 years, having lived in Taunton and Wellesley.

She was the former owner of the Classic Cupboard in Walpole Center at the corner of Rt. 1A and Rt 27, during the early 1990's.

Mrs. Eastman had a love for Flea markets and reading,

Loving mother of Sally M. Eastman and Craig M. Eastman both of Walpole. Sister of Elinore A. Catalano of East Walpole, the late Robert Faris, the late Ted Faris, and the late James Faris also survived by many nieces and nephews

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the graveside services that will be held in the Prospect Hill Cemetery Auburn Street Millis on Tuesday Afternoon, July 24th, 2007 at 1PM.
