James A. Murphy

JAMES A. MURPHY AGE 90 YEARS DIED ON TUESDAY EVENING , JUNE 6TH, 2006 , in the Hellenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Canton, Massachusetts. Born on September 29, 1915, in Middletown, Connecticut, the son of the late John J. & Mary (Butler) Murphy. Raised and educated in Middletown, Ct. Mr. Murphy had moved to Walpole in 1950.

He is the retired President of the North Attleboro Taps, Inc. (they produce special threading tools) , he was the President for over 18 years and retired in 1985.

Former member of Walpole Country Club 1950-1990

Beloved husband of the late Mary Elizabeth "Betty" (Daley) Murphy Loving father of James A. and his wife Linda Hyland Murphy of Virginia, and John E. and his wife Marie Needham Murphy of North Attleboro. Cherished grandfather to 3 grand daughters. Brother of William Murphy, Kathleen Murphy both of Middletown, CT.,the late Margaret Wisneski, the late John Murphy, the late Frank Murphy, the late Elizabeth Murphy, and the late Lucille Varhue.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church Route 27 (East St) @ Diamond Street Walpole on Saturday Morning, June 10th, 2006 @ 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are prior to the Mass from 8:30 - 9:30AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Saint Francis Cemetery.
