James E. Horne

James E. Horne age 44 years died in the Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts on Tuesday, June 15, 2010. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 2, 1966; he graduated from Norwood High School with the class of 1984. He went on to graduate from Northeastern University with the class of 1988. He has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts since 1994 moving from Norwood, Massachusetts.

Mr. Horne worked in sales most recently for Atlas Paper in Woburn, but had previously worked for Longview Fibre of Waltham and United Liquors of West Bridgewater.

He volunteered coaching Walpole Softball and Walpole Soccer.

Mr. Horne enjoyed summers on Lake Winnipesaukee and was an avid Boston sports fan.

Beloved husband of Deena M. (Laliberte) Horne. Loving father of Samantha, Jessica, and Kara Horne all of Walpole. Cherished son of Robert and Paula (Judge) Horne of Norwood. Brother of Paula and her husband Steve Avakian of Norwood, Nancy and her husband Neil Larrivee of Norwood, Ken and his wife Jeannie Horne of Duxbury, Mark and his wife Nicole Horne of Quincy, and the late Robert Horne, Jr. Brother in law of Julie Horne of Norwood. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours are Thursday, June 17, 2010 from 4-8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Saint Francis Cemetery Walpole.
