Isabelle Margaret (McDonald) Mealey age 74 years died in the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts on Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on March 29, 1936; she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Isabelle (McMaster) McDonald. She graduated from Dedham High School with the class of 1954 and from the Katherine Gibbs School with the class of 1955. She has been a resident of Plainville, Massachusetts since 1994 moving from Walpole, Massachusetts.
She was a homemaker for all of her adult life; raising and caring for her family.
Mrs. Mealey was the President of the Walpole Swim Team and a coach for the Blessed Sacrament Softball Team. In addition she served as a Campfire Mother for the Campfire Girls.
Beloved wife of the late James H. Mealey. Loving mother of Cheryl A. Cavanaugh of Walpole, Nancy T. Robinson of Foxboro, and James H. Mealey, Jr. of Franklin. Cherished grandmother of Shannon Robinson, Eric Robinson, Gavin Mealey, Nolan Mealey, Shaelin Mealey, and Carlie Cavanaugh. Brother of Ronald McDonald of Dedham and the late Joseph McDonald.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 10AM. Visiting hours are Friday, December 17, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be private.
