Mrs. Isabella C. (Sergi) Boivin age 89 years died in the Hellenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Canton, Massachusetts on Sunday Evening , April 18, 2010. Born in East Boston, Massachusetts on September 3, 1920, the daughter of Joseph and Lucia (Bertino) Sergi. She was a member of the Class of 1938 from Somerville High School.

Mrs. Boivin was the department manager for domestic at Bradlee's in the Walpole Mall for over 20 years. When Bradlee's closed she became the Candy Lady at Watson's Candies in Walpole, making candy in the window. She then worked as a hostess at Guido's Restaurant in Walpole till her retirement.

A resident of Walpole since 1973 moving here from Dorchester (20 years) A member of the Walpole Senior Citizens She enjoyed playing bingo, going to Atlantic City, and crocheting. She would make afghans for the Blessed Sacrament Church Harvest Days and for the Hellenic Nnursing Home fall fundraiser

Beloved wife of the late Russell H. Boivin Loving mother of Donna and her husband Richard Ryan of Walpole, Marie and her husband Carl Stevens of Dorchester, the late Joseph Bertino and the late David R. Boivin Chersihed grandmother of 11 including Daniel Ryan of Walpole, Melissa Tomasello of Hudson and the late Theresa Marie Ryan, great grandmother of 5 and great great grandmother of 3.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route #27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Thursday, April 22, 2010 @ 10AM. Visiting hours are Wednesday, April 21, 2010, from 4pm to 8pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole . Interment Saint Francis Cemetery, Walpole.
