Irma Ciannavei

Mrs. Irma (Gabrielli) Ciannavei age 88 years died in the Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Massachusetts on Thursday October 20, 2011. Born in Ascoli Piceno, Italy on October 23, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Giulio and Giulia (Pignoloni) Gabrielli. She was educated in Italy. She moved to Walpole with her family in 1962.

She was a cook at Tee-Tee's Restaurant in Walpole Center for over 30 years.

She loved to cook, work in her vegetable garden and to crochet. She was a Member of the Italian American Club in Walpole, where she played bocce; and the Sons of Italy Walpole-Foxboro Lodge. Mrs. Ciannavei also belonged to a bowling league in Rhode Island.

Beloved wife of the late Guido F.Ciannavei. loving mother of Noemi and her husband George Campanario of Walpole and Peter P. and his wife Janice (Zajac) Ciannavei of Wrentham. Cherished grandmother of 5 and great grandmother of 2. Sister of Antonio Gabrielli of Italy, Natalina Melandri of England, and pre-deceased by 4 brothers and sisters.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Saint Timothy's Church Nichols Street Norwood on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 9AM . Visiting hours are Monday, October 24, 2011 from 4pm to 8pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment St. Francis Cemetery, Walpole.
