Irene Louise Gray

Irene Louise Gray age 87 years died in the Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Massachusetts on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. She was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on April 19, 1923. She graduated from the Bryant and Stratton Business School in Boston, Massachusetts. Miss Gray has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts since 1939.

She was the secretary to the Vice President of Finance at the Bird Johnson Company in Walpole for 16 years; retiring in 1988.

Miss Gray enjoyed knitting, cross stitching, and crewelwork.

Devoted daughter of the late Murray L. and Marie A. (Becker) Gray. Sister of Pauline Jones of East Harwich and the late Barbara Tucker. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday, October 1, 2010 from 10-11AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common St. Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church Walpole on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 11:30AM. Interment will be in Saint Francis Cemetery Walpole.
