Irene R. (Barry) Boucher age 91 years died in the Harrington House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Walpole, Massachusetts on Sunday, May 15, 2011. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 1, 1920; she was the daughter of the late Michael and Sarah (Foley) Barry. She graduated from Hyde Park High School with the class of 1938. She has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts since 1955 moving there from Hyde Park.
Mrs. Boucher was a homemaker for all of her adult life, raising and caring for her family.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, arts and crafts, and gardening. She was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Church.
Beloved wife of the late Gilbert G. Boucher, Sr. Loving mother of Gilbert G. Boucher, Jr. and his wife Louise of Plainville and Elizabeth Leary and her husband Jack of Stoughton. Cherished grandmother of Sean and Christine Leary both of Stoughton.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 4-8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton, Massachusetts.
