Ina M. Marchand

Ina M. (Conrad) Marchand age 89 years died in the Golden Living Center in Dedham, Massachusetts on Monday, December 10, 2012. Born in Nova Scotia, Canada on October 15, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Evelyn (Hertle) Conrad. She was a graduate of Norwood High School in Norwood, Massachusetts. She has been a resident of Bourne, Massachusetts since 1980, moving there from Norwood.

Mrs. Marchand was a real estate broker and worked for Century 21 in both Norwood and Bourne.

She was a gifted musician and could play any instrument. She also belonged to the Saints and Singers Chorale Group in Bourne.

Beloved wife of the late Lester P. Marchand. Loving mother of Lester V. Marchand of Easton, Merrill B. Marchand of Norwood, Susan A. Ferrara of Bridgewater, Stephen D. Marchand of Attleboro, Joan M. Downs of Bourne, Gereen I. Treeful of Foxboro, Stanley A. Marchand of Westwood, Robert E. Marchand of Foxboro and the late Brenda L. Bing. Cherished grandmother and great grandmother of many. Sister of Penelope Kramer of Westwood, Carroll Conrad of Walpole, Alan Conrad, Delores Conrad both of Florida, and pre-deceased by several brothers and sisters.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the memorial service that will be celebrated in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 11AM. Visiting hours are omitted at the request of the family. Interment will be in Saint Francis Cemetery in Walpole.
