Henry L. Maiorana

Henry L. “Hank” Maiorana, age 96, died in the Traditions of Dedham Assisted Living Facility in Dedham, Massachusetts on Saturday, December 20, 2014. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on February 7, 1918, he was the son of the late Joseph and Maria (Salamone) Maiorana. He graduated from the High School of Commerce in Roxbury. Hank proudly served his country as trained combat medic in an Army Field (MASH) Hospital in the United States Army during World War II. He was stationed in the European Theater of Operations with the 155th General Army Hospital in England, and was honorably discharged in 1946 as a Staff Sergeant. After his discharge from the Army, Hank earned his Associates Degree from Boston University in advertising. He has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts since 1980 moving from Roslindale.
