Helena Katherine (Brown) Ceruti of Foxboro, MA, on August 5, age 90 years, formerly of Walpole.
Beloved wife of the late Oliver P. Ceruti. Loving mother of Paul J. Ceruti of Foxboro and Katherine (Ceruti) Guild and her husband Bruce of Mansfield. Devoted grandmother of Brian Guild and his wife Jennifer of Marlboro and Robin Guild of Hudson. Cherished great-grandmother of Logan and Madeline Guild of Marlboro. Treasured aunt of many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and great-grandnieces and nephews. Daughter of the late James H. and Katherine J. (McDonald) Brown of Wrentham and sister of the late William H. Brown of Wrentham and Paul J. Brown of Providence, RI. Dearest sister-in-law of Dorothy Brown of Wrentham.
Mrs. Ceruti worked at the Town Hall in Foxboro for several years during the 1940's as department clerk where she performed clerical duties and was one of the first switchboard operators for the town. She resigned when she became engaged at which time she was honored with a surprise testimonial dinner at the Lafayette House in Foxboro hosted by town officials. She was also the President of the Junior Hostesses in Foxboro during World War II.
Funeral services will be held from the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, WALPOLE on Tuesday, August 9th at 9 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Blessed Sacrament Church, Walpole at 10 am. Interment will follow the Mass in St. Francis Cemetery, Walpole. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 8th from 4:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are kindly invited
