Helen V. Poirier

Helen V. (O'Leary) Poirier age 92 years died in the Pond Home in Wrentham, Massachusetts on Thursday, August 12, 2010. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on February 9, 1918; she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Stapleton) O'Leary. She has been a resident of Wrentham, Massachusetts for the past 6 years moving from West Roxbury.

Mrs. Poirier was primarily a homemaker however she did work as a chamber maid for Simmons College and the Westwood Motor Lodge.

She enjoyed enjoyed Polka Dancing and singing, however she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Beloved wife of the late Edmond F. Poirier. Loving mother of Edmond F. Poirier, Jr. of West Roxbury, Doris E. Gustafson of Mansfield, Joyce G. Dolan of West Roxbury, and James M. Poirier of Norfolk. Cherished grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 12. Sister of Elaine Gardner of Norwood, Gerald O'Leary of E. Walpole, the late Michael O'Leary, James O'Leary, Thomas O'Leary and Mary Gustafson.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral service on Monday at 11AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Visiting hours are Monday morning from 9-11AM. Interment will be in Mount Benedict Cemetery West Roxbury.
