Mrs. Helen (VanHook) Howard age 91 years died in the Caritas Norwood Hospital, Norwood, Massachusetts on Saturday afternoon, October 28th, 2006. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on February 21st, 1915, the daughter of the late Clifford E. & Helen (Evans) VanHook. As the daughter of a career military man, she moved frequently during her life. Mrs. Howard graduated from Coronado High School, Coronado, California and later from George Washington University in Washington, DC

Mrs. Howard retired in 2001 with over 25 years of service in the Library at Curry College, where she was incharge of purchasing.

Wyman Howard, Jr. of Alexandra, VA, Curtis VH Howard of Maui, HI, John Eliot Howard of Portsmouth, NH, and C. Evans Howard of Georgia, VT. Cherished grandmother of 11 great grandmother of 11 and great great grandmother of 1 Sister of Gordon Van Hook of Newport, RI and Margaret Hubbard of Lincoln.
