Harold J. “Hap” Donovan, age 82, died in the Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Massachusetts on Saturday, January 3, 2015. Born in South Boston, Massachusetts on April 11, 1932, he was the son of the late Harold Stephen and Katherine (Concannon) Donovan. Hap moved with his family to Sharon, Massachusetts in 1944, where he graduated from Sharon High School with the class of 1949. While in high school, Hap played basketball and was later inducted into the Sharon High School Hall of Fame.
