Gladys Muriel Fermano

Mrs. Gladys Muriel (Jones) Fermano age 81 years passed away peacefully, sourrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 7, 2009. Born and raised in Norwood, Massachusetts , the daughter of Charles and Gladys (Hughey) Jones. A 1946 graduate of the Henry O. Peabody School at Norwood High School.

Gladys has been a resident of Walpole since 1954 moving here from Norwood

Mrs. Fermano worked in the Town of Walpole School Cafeteria System while her children were in school. She retired as the baker with over 15 years of service, having been in both the Fisher School and the Johnson Middle School (West Junior High).

Beloved wife of the late Richard E. "Dick" Fermano, Sr Devoted mother of Richard E. "Mano" Fermano, Jr of Walpole and the late Janice M. Fermano Dear grandmother of Nickole(Fermano)Whelan and loving great grandmother of William Whelan Sister of the late Esther (Jones) Walker, and her seven borther the late Charles , Edward, Frederick, Thomas, Robert, Russell and Alvin "Skip" Jones. sister in law of Mary, Helen, Florence and Pat Jones, the late Dorothy Daley, Margaret and Loretta Jones. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, gradn-nieces and grand-nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday morning, October 10th, 2009. from 9AM to 11AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Followed by a funeral service, in the Funeral Home at 11AM. Interment Terrace Hill Cemetery, Walpole..
