Gertrude Cappuccino

Gertrude St. Aubin (Rogers) Cappuccino, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at the age of 99, at Hope Hospice House in Cape Coral, Florida. Born in Boston Massachusetts on September 6, 1918, she was the daughter of Frank W. Rogers and Olivonne (St. Aubin) Rogers. Trudy was a devoted wife to the late Anthony A. Cappuccino, whom she met while dancing on roller skates. Trudy was the loving mother of Naomi R. Cappuccino and the late Carleton C. Cappuccino. The family made their home first in Norwood, MA and later in Wrentham, MA, where Trudy worked in the cafeteria of King Philip High School.

Trudy loved knitting, crocheting and sewing gifts for her friends. However, her true passion was for the ocean; she loved the beaches of both Massachusetts (Nantasket, Plymouth and Yarmouth) and Florida.
