Gerard R. Flynn

Mr. Gerard R. Flynn age 77 years died in the Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Massachusetts on Wednesday, November 23, 2011. Born in Quincy, Massachusetts on April 8, 1934, he was the son of the late Cornelius and Anastasia (Keene) Flynn.

He has been a resident of Norwood for the past 10 years moving there from Boston.

Mr. Flynn was a retired representative for the John Hancock Life Insurance Company.

Beloved husband of Dorothy (Foley) Flynn. Loving father of Sondra Flynn of North Carolina, Katherine Flynn of Norwood and Gerard R. Flynn, Jr of W. Roxbury. Cherished grandfather of Keith Flynn, Shakim Bush, DiLorenzo Bush, and Caprice Bush. Brother of Geri Flynn of Weymouth, Eileen Murphy of Natick, Jean McDonald of Weymouth, the late Mary Mercurio, the late Rita Hoyle, the late Kathleen Dillon, and the late John Flynn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Memorial Service that will be celebrated at Saint Catherine of Siena Church 547 Washington Street Norwood on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 9AM..
