Geraldine Tagliaferro

Geraldine (Goglia) Tagliaferro age 71 years died in the Caritas Norwood Hospital in Norwood, Massachusetts on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 3, 1938; she was the daughter of the late Vincent C. and Agnes J. (Butler) Goglia. She graduated from Girls High School in Boston with the class of 1956. She has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts since 1968 moving from Roslindale.

She worked at Bay Bank in Walpole Center for 17 years, and retired as the Assistant Manager in 1994.

Mrs. Tagliaferro enjoyed reading, working on crossword puzzles, and traveling with her husband. They traveled to Florida, California, Hawaii, and Las Vegas. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Beloved wife of Carl R. Tagliaferro. Loving mother of Karen M. and her husband Kenneth Horan of Upton, Susan A. and her husband Tom Cochrane of Plainville, Michele D. and her husband Bob Deeb of Attleboro, and the late John V. Tagliaferro. Cherished grandmother Kenneth, Andrew, and Jonathan Horan, Kristina, Thomas, Michael, and Joseph Cochrane, and Danielle Deeb; and great grandmother of Eric Thomas. Sister of Vincent C. Goglia, Jr. of RI and Carol A. Sacromone of CA.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Friday, October 1, 2010 from 4-8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Rural Cemetery in Walpole.
