Geraldine A. Maiorana

Geraldine A. (Marden) Maiorana, age 84 years, died at Traditions of Dedham on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Born in Dorchester, Massachusetts on February 25, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Anne (MacDonald) Marden. She graduated from Jeremiah Burke High School in Dorchester. She has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts since 1980 moving from Roslindale where she raised her family.

Geraldine worked as a bookkeeper for her family business, Needham Garden Center for 25 years.

She enjoyed both reading and writing and will be remembered as a social person. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Beloved wife of 61 years of Henry L. Maiorana. Loving mother of Mark Maiorana and Gina Westcott both of Walpole and adopted mother of Vicki Gilmer of Seattle, WA.. Cherished grandmother of Daniel and Mikayla. Sister of John Marden of Seattle, WA, Robert Marden of Stoughton, and the late Virginia Nee.
