Geraldine B. (Ford) Grasso, age 68, passed away peacefully in her Bellingham, Massachusetts home on Thursday, November 19, 2015. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 24, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Anne (Naughton) Ford. She was raised in Dedham, Massachusetts and graduated from Dedham High School with the class of 1963. After graduation, Gerry enjoyed traveling across the United States with friends.
In 1970, Gerry's soon to be husband, John "Mike" Grasso, swept her off her feet and they were married on March 6, 1971, making their home together in Norwood. It was while living in Norwood that Gerry and Mike started their family, later moving to Walpole to raise their children in 1978.
After raising her children, Gerry took a position with the Walpole Public School System as the kitchen manager for the Johnson Middle School. She and Mike moved to Foxborough in 1998 and she began working at the Shaw's Supermarket in Mansfield.
In her retirement, Gerry enjoyed traveling with her sisters, taking trips to Florida, California, and Ireland. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. She looked forward to having them at her home in the summer and attending their sporting events throughout the year.

Loving mother of Gigi M. O'Brien and her husband Chuck of Bellingham and John M. Grasso Jr. and his wife Krista of Marion.
Devoted Grandmother to Charles O'Brien and Bridget Mary O'Brien of Bellingham and Hanna Cecile Grasso and Michael Grasso of Marion.
Sister of Mary Molloy of Sharon, Owen Ford of Plainville, Michael Ford of West Roxbury, the late Julia Guilfoyle, the late Thomas Ford, and the late Dennis Ford.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Gerry's Life Celebration on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 2-6 PM and Monday, November 23, 2015 from 9-9:30 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church, 10 Diamond Street, Walpole on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Saint Francis Cemetery in Walpole. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Hope Hospice, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
