Gerald (Jerry) David Maslin was born April 3rd, 1951 in Endicott, New York and passed away peacefully in Savannah, Georgia on February 7th, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Jerry was the son of Gerald Maslin and Dolores (Sanzo). He is survived by his mother, Dolores (97) and sisters, Denise Huson and Linda Wilson. Jerry married Anne Beasley on October 12, 1985 and in their 32 year marriage they raised 3 children Ian (36), Greg (31), and Alyssa (29) before their divorce in 2017.
Jerry attended college at MIT where he received his B.S. in acoustic engineering with a concentration in music composition in 1972. He then later went on to obtain his MBA at Northeastern. Jerry had a successful career as an engineer in which he started his own companies and worked for Polaroid, Bose, and Raytheon. He enjoyed watching football, playing golf and was both a gifted musician and talented chess player.
Jerry was a loving father/ grandfather of his 3 children and 3 grandchildren, Caiden (6), Holden (2), and Ray, whose birth is expected in May.
Jerry recently moved to Richmond Hill, Georgia in order to be closer to his grandsons, whom he adored. He looked forward to spending time teaching his grandchildren how to play music and fishing together. They will miss him greatly and will continue fishing near his home in his honor.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Jerry's Celebration of Life on Friday, March 14th, 2025, from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jerry's name to your favorite charity is politely encouraged.
