George A. Roy

Mr. George A. Roy age 64 years died in the Newton Wellesley Hospital, Newton, Massachusetts on Monday, July 30, 2007. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on May 10, 1943, the son of the late Henry L. and Gladys (McFarland) Roy. A 1961 graduate of Brighton High School.

Resident of Walpole since 1983 moving here from Canton.

For the past 38 years he has been the owner and operator of the Poly Cleaners in Ashmont Plaza, Walpole.

Mr. Roy enjoyed fishing, especially at the Cape Cod Canal, and walking the beach in Ogunquit, Maine. But what gave him his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Rt 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Friday, August 3, 2007 @ 10AM. Visiting hours are Thursday, August 2, 2007, from 4pm to 8pm in James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be private .
