George Alan Norton

April 13, 1947 — December 9, 2008

George Alan "Al" Norton age 61 years died in the South Seminole Hospital in Florida on December 9, 2008. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts on April 13, 1947, the son of the late Matthew and Helen (Lamond) Bresnahan. He graduated from the Norfolk Agricultural School in Walpole, Massachusetts with the class of 1965. After high school, Mr. Norton served his country in the United States Army. He had been living in Florida for the past 20 years moving from Walpole, Massachusetts.

He worked for the Chrysler Corporation in Mansfield, Massachusetts and later in Orlando, Florida for 30 years.

Beloved husband of Theresa (Callahan) Norton of Orlando, Florida. Brother of Jane Gould of Walpole, Michael J. Bresnahan of Georgia, and Gayle Bresnahan of Bellingham. Cherished uncle of James Thomas Balnis, Jr. of Walpole, Sandra Ferre of Walpole, and Michelle Cinto of Bellingham. Also survived by 2 great nephews and 2 great nieces.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Memorial Mass that will be celebrated in Saint Catherine of Siena's Church Washington Street (Route 1A) at Nahatan Street Norwood on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 9AM. Interment is in Highland Cemetery, Norwood, Massachusetts.
