Gary H. Muise

Gary H. Muise age 57 died on Monday, August 13, 2012. Born in Toronto, Canada on May 26, 1955, he graduated from Milford High School in Milford, Massachusetts with the class of 1973. He went on to graduate from Northearstern University with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He later graduated from the Massachusetts Bay Community College X-Ray Technician Program. He has been a resident of Sharon, Massachusetts for the past 13 years moving there from Binghamton, New York where he lived for 10 years.

Mr. Muise began his career in Engineering at Plymouth Rubber in Canton, Massachusetts where he worked for 8 years; he then continued his career at International Paper in Binghamton, New York where he worked for 9 years. After moving back to Massachusetts, he worked at the Landers Insurance Company in Needham in the IT Department for 3 years. Currently, Mr. Muise was working as an X-Ray Technician for the VA Healthcare System in both West Roxbury and Brockton.

He was a past member of the Appalachian Mountain Club and the Appalachian Ski Club. He was also a member of the Radiology Technicians Society. Mr. Muise was the administrator for the website at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Sharon for 6 years.

In his spare time, Mr. Muise enjoyed reading, especially about history and politics; hiking, in both Borderland State Park and at the Audobon Society at Moosehill; going to comedy clubs and museums; keeping up with Canadian History, working with computers and maps; and traveling. He also enjoyed following the Boston Sports Teams. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Beloved husband of Ann F. (McNamara) Muise. Loving father of Christine M. Muise and Shannon M. Muise both of Sharon. Devoted son of Herbert M. and Therese Marie (Babineau) Muise of Nova Scotia. Brother of Helen and her husband Dwayne Murphy of Nova Scotia. Brother in law of James McNamara of Quincy, Thomas McNamara of Weymouth, Joseph McNamara of Westwood, Patricia McNamara of Quincy, and Elizabeth and her husband Paul McDonald of Norwood. Cherished uncle of Caroline McDonald of Norwood, Joseph McNamara, and Bridget McNamara of Westwood. Also survived by his dog Cody and adopted dog Sammi.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in Our Lady of Sorrows Church 59 Cottage Street Sharon on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 10AM. Interment will be in Rock Ridge Cemetery in Sharon. Visiting hours are omitted at the request of the family.
