Frank J. Bublis age 66 years died in the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton, Massachusetts on Friday, December 25, 2009. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 13, 1943; he was the son of the late Francis and Mary (Turynowicz) Bublis. He graduated from South Boston High School with the class of 1960, and went on to attend the Franklin Institiute of Technology. He has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts for the past 23 years moving from Canton, Massachusetts.
He was an engineer for 35 years, most recently working for Allied Consulting in Sudbury. He had previously worked at Balco in Boston, E.J. Flynn Engineering in Middleboro, National Medical Care in Boston, and Symmes, Maini & McKee in Cambridge.
Mr. Bublis was an avid golfer. He was a member of the Ponkapoag Golf Club in Canton, where he played in the Monday Night League. He was also a member of the Weymouth Eagles.
Beloved husband of Gail A. (Piccolomini) Bublis. Loving father of Jennifer L. Bublis of Attleboro and Melissa M. Bublis of Walpole. Brother of Theresa Gorman of Braintree and Janice Barry of Quincy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 4-8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment is in Saint Francis Cemetery Walpole.
