Frank Joseph Bianco

Frank Joseph Bianco, Sr. 92, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Frank was born in Framingham, MA on July 30, 1923 to Francesco and Natalina (DeVincenzo) Bianco. He was the ninth of fourteen children; he grew up on the family farm in Hopkinton, where he also attended school. In October of 1943 he enlisted in the United States Army, he joined the 361st Infantry, 3rd Battalion as a Mortar Gunner in Europe. He was in major battles where he earned several medals, including the Purple Heart.

On May 2, 1948 he married the love of his life, Isabell "Lee" Pascarelli, in Saint Phillip's Church in Boston. They moved to East Walpole, where they raised their family. Frank was employed at the General Motors Plant in Framingham. He was a member of the UAW Local 422. He and his wife Lee also maintained a small cleaning business. After retiring they spent half the year at their Florida home in Redington Shores.

Frank was a hard worker, avid outdoorsman, and environmentalist before it became fashionable. Hiking, camping, parades and amusement park rides were pastimes he enjoyed. He loved working in his vegetable and flower gardens. Frank was a true family man, spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Loving father of Frank J. Bianco, Jr. of Walpole, Linda B. Orlando of East Walpole, Gaye B. Quigley of East Walpole, and Nancy M. Bethoney of Wrentham.
Cherished grandfather of Denise, Jennifer, Rachel, Natalya, Paul, Jaclyn, James, Matthew, Frank, and Angela. Great grandfather of Justin, Jeremiah, Isabella Rose.
Brother of Florence and her husband Gerry Halterman of Sudbury, Patrick Bianco of South Boston, Raymond and his wife Clara White of Hampden, Clementine Bianco of Framingham, the late Catherine Correnti, Elizabeth Doregan, Frances Ratta, Josephine Bianco, Joseph Bianco, Rose Wright, John White, Ernest Bianco, Albert Bianco, and Henry Bianco.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Frank's Life Celebration on Thursday , February 4, 2016 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Mary's Church, 176 Washington Street, East Walpole on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Memorial donations may be made to: Walpole VNA, P.O. Box 242, Walpole, MA 02081.
