Francis H. White III, age 65, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 30, 2022, surrounded by family. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on June 11, 1956, he was the son of the late Francis H. and Ruth M. (O'Brien) White. He was raised in East Walpole, Massachusetts, where as a young boy, he could be found running around one of his favorite places, Bird Park. Upon entering Walpole High School, Fran found his niche as a two-season athlete, playing both football and baseball, before graduating with the Class of 1974. Fran established his career in the gas utility industry working for Heath Consultants, Boston Gas, and finishing out his career at NEUCO Inc., where his coworkers quickly became lifelong friends.
Fran married his “first wife”, Diana M. Brown, on April 15, 1984, and settled in Walpole, where they raised their three children, Jenna, Christine, and Johnny. He was a longtime member of the Foxboro Country Club where he was able to achieve his goal of becoming a single handicap. Fran could often be found working in his backyard, creating a beautiful space for his family and playing with his grandchildren. His love of music was ever-present throughout his life and a passion that was passed on to his kids. Above all else, Fran was the happiest when he was with his family.
