Francis T. Calf

Mr. Francis T. "Frank" Calf age 86 died in the Epoch Senior Healthcare of Sharon on Wednesday, April 25th, 2007. Born on April 12, 1921, in Watertown, Massachusetts, the son of the late Jeremiah & Zita (Matthews) Calf. A life Long Resident of Walpole, he graduated from Walpole High School , Class of 1939. He summered in Dennis, Massachusetts for 35 years. Once he graduated from High School he entered into the United States Army and served his country during World War II as a Corporal.

Mr. Calf was the head Custodian for the town of Walpole , mainly in the Walpole High School, he worked for the town for over 35 years and retired in 1992.

A member of the Italian American Club, Walpole Hall of Fame Founding Member He enjoyed gardening, sports, his family gatherings both in Walpole and Dennis. His greatest thrill was be able to watch his grandchildren.

Beloved husband of Frances T. (Pagnini) Calf Loving father of Pamela J. Travers of Walpole, Janice M. Calf of Plymouth, and the late John R. "Jack" Calf. Cherished grandfather of Christopher Hewins, Matthew Vance, Jared Vance, Megan McGillis, Jackqueline Saulnier Great grandfather of 4 Brother of Josephine Lang of Franklin

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Rt 27) @ Diamond Street Walpole on Tuesday Morning, May 1st, 2007 @ 11:00 AM. Visiting hours are Monday, April 30th, 2007 from 4PM to 8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment Saint Francis Cemetery, Walpole.
