Frances M. (Pascoe) Duncan, age 92 years, died in the Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, Massachusetts on Sunday, February 23, 2014. Born in Waltham, Massachusetts on December 19, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Francis Henry and Margaret (Treglown) Pascoe. She graduated from Norwood High School with the class of 1939. After high school, Frances proudly served her country in the United States Army during World War II. She was stationed in the European Theater of Operations, landing in England on D-Day. She was honorably discharged in 1945 as a Corporal. She has been a resident of West Yarmouth, Massachusetts since 2010 moving from Walpole. In additon, she maintains her summer home in Mattapoisett.
Frances worked as a library aide in the Fisher Elementary School in Walpole and was a longtime volunteer at the Norwood Hospital.
She was a member of Saint Agatha's Altar Guild at the Epiphany Epicopal Church in Walpole, a former member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Norwood and an associate member of Saint David's Episcopal Church. In addition, she was a member of the Eastern Star in Norwood, the Do Si Doers Square Dancers, and served as the past treasurer for the Point Connett Homeowner's Association. As a member of the Neponset Choral Society along with her husband Wally, she enjoyed performing in many Gilbert and Sullivan Productions.
Frances enjoyed playing the mandolin, after being taught by her father. She was also an excellent seamstress and had a quick wit and great story telling ablility.

Cherished grandmother of Matthew F. Duncan, Andrea Duncan Lauber and Jake T. Whipple. Great grandmother of Nyomi Eve Duncan. Sister of the late Barbara Gilbert, the late Henry "Harry" Pascoe, and the late Evelyn Pascoe.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Frances' Life Celebration on Friday, February 28, 2014 from 4-7 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. A memorial service will be held in the Epiphany Episcopal Church 62 Front Street Walpole on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
