Florence M. Tivnan

Florence M. (Brown) Tivnan age 82 years died on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 in Norfolk, Massachusetts. Born in Waltham on April 9, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Hazel (Penney) Brown. She was a graduate of Newton High School. She had been living in Malden, Massachusetts for the past 20 years movinig there from Boston, Massachusetts.

She worked as a book keeper for the United States Trust Bank for 25 years.

Mrs. Tivnan enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Beloved wife of the late Henry "Hank" Tivnan. Loving mother of Ann and her husband Richard Mello of Norfolk. Cherished grandmother of Kathleen and her husband Kevin Platt of Westwood, Craig and his wife Meagan Mello of Wrentham, Richard Mello, Jr. of Franklin, and Kerri Mello of Norfolk. Cherished great grandmother of Courtney Platt, Madison Platt, Kelsey Platt, Caitlin Mello, Michael Mello, Christopher "CJ" Mello, Connor "Diggy" Mello, Alexander Mello, and Ethan Mello.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday from 4-8PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole.
