Florence S. Morrison Allan

Florence S. (MacDonald) Morrison Allan age 97 years died in her Taunton, Massachusetts home on Sunday, June 21, 2009. Born in North Attleboro, Massachusetts on June 16, 1912; she was the daughter of the late John and Sophronia (Haggaman) MacDonald. She graduated from North Attleboro High School with the class of 1930. She had been living in Taunton for the past four years moving there from Walpole, Massachusetts, where she was a resident for 20 years.

She worked for Becton and Dickenson, a medical supply company, as an assembler for 12 years.

Mrs. Allan enjoyed bowling, camping, crafts, and working with oil paints.

Beloved wife of the late Paul Morrison and the late Vaughn Allan. Loving mother of Janet L. Rowell of Taunton, the late Joan Mandes, the late Jean Howes, the late Joyce Desmaris, and the late Judy Morrison. Cherished grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother of many. Sister of the late Carl MacDonald, Howard MacDonald, Ernest MacDonald, Lillian Walsh, and Maude MacDonald. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Memorial Service that will be held in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are omitted at the request of the family. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery Attleboro Falls.
